Description of Incident:
 
The Vermont State Police in New Haven responded to a reported one-car crash with injuries and entrapment on Town Hill Rd. in New Haven.
 
It was discovered that a small bus that was carrying eight passengers for Addison County Counseling Services(CSAC) had gone off the road and struck a tree. The driver suffered from the most serious of reported injuries and was subsequently flown to Fletcher Allen in Burlington by DHART.  There were several other reported serious injuries from the occupants and numerous areas 1st Responders assisted in their transportation to Porter Hospital in Middlebury.
 
It is unknown why the vehicle went off the road, but it appears that the vehicle drifted to the right and the right side tires had caught the edge of the pavement, pulling the vehicle towards the trees.
 
This crash is currently under investigation.
